The latest federal budget was released today. It’s all available online at www.budget.gov, a measure that the President said was a cost cutting procedure. What’s interesting to note, is that there are charts of current expenditure in several sub-sections of the Federal Government, and there are 2 year estimated increases in the same areas.
Now this is a unique budget, as it’s the first time in history $3.1 Trillion (with a T) is being spent in a 12 month period. Give it a look, it’s very interesting. Fortunately none of our finances are on such a large scale, makes this seem like a piece of cake by comparison.
